April 4th, 2005:I've been far too busy this last year and have not updated this website properly. I was too busy getting The Confidence Man onstage. Well that is done. I hope to update a bit more regularly this year.

Jim Steinman has hit #1 on the French music charts with Bonnie Tyler and Kareen Antonn's new cover of Total Eclipse, Si Demain (Turn Around). The French may not know much, but I guess they have good taste in music.

November 25th, 2003: Meat Loaf underwent heart surgery in a London hospital after being diagnosed with a condition that causes an irregular heartbeat, his record label said Tuesday.
He had a catheter ablation - a procedure in which tissue is removed to restore a normal heartbeat - on Friday at the Wellington Hospital in St. John's Wood, London, and left on Saturday, his U.K. record label Mercury said.
Mercury said Meat Loaf was recovering in London and would undergo further tests later this week, after which more details of his condition and tour plans would be released.

November 18th, 2003: Meat Loaf was taken to the hospital in London after collapsing during a concert, his record company said Tuesday. The 56-year-old singer "collapsed from exhaustion due to a prolonged viral infection. It is not life-threatening," a company spokesman said. Meat Loaf collapsed during Monday night's concert at London's Wembley Arena, tried to perform another song but on advice from paramedics was taken to the nearest hospital. His concert Tuesday night was canceled on doctors' orders. "Meat Loaf will be re-evaluated by doctors today and further information about his status will be made available," a hospital statement said.
