Neverland

NEVERLAND by Craig Duncan

This picture was inspired by the Historian's speech in Neverland where he describes Neverland like this: "We are on the coast of Southern California, on the jagged rocks overlooking the purple ocean, we are in the shining rim, of the searing edge of the west, in the farthest dream of essential America. And we are in the long and distant future. Nearby is a huge black and blue and silver city, a monster that breathes on its own inescapable pollution and corruption, and wears its decay like a shrill, mincing smile. The great metropolis of Obsidian! Built upon the ashes and ruins of the great earthquake. Like an ancient medieval fortress it stands, beaming its blinding light out over the desolate surrounding countryside."

Colourize by Craig Duncan

This picture was inspired by the image of Wendy and Baal running off together in danger, escaping from the Asylum for the Chemically Insane in the city of Obsidian. It is inspired by the lines: "Will you hold me sacred? Will you hold me tight? Can you colorize my life, I'm so sick of black and white?"

Devotion by Craig Duncan

This picture was inspired by the Declaration of Devotion phase of Neverland, when Wendy and Baal make their vows of Love and Union. It is meant to represent the raw passion between the two teenagers.
